For GPs & Psychiatrists

A clear pathway for your Patients

One page online, or your usual letter. Referrals are reviewed within two business days. Your patient remains under your care throughout: we assess, treat, measure and report back.

Who is suitable
  • Adults, 18 and over
  • Major depression with an inadequate response to at least two antidepressants (the Medicare criterion); anxious depression on the same basis; OCD assessed case by case
  • No metal implants or devices in or near the head, and no unmanaged seizure risk
  • Able to attend at least three sessions a week for four to six weeks (most attend five)
  • Under 18: privately funded, same criteria, psychiatric assessment required
Three ways to refer
  • Online, one page. About two minutes. Name, contact, diagnosis, antidepressant trials, consent. Done.
  • Your usual letter. Address it to the treating psychiatrist and email or fax it to the clinic. Include the patient's phone number and the antidepressants tried.
  • By phone. For urgent or complex cases, call and a clinician will speak with you the same day.
What you receive, and when
Within 2 business days

Acknowledgement

We confirm receipt and phone your patient to book the psychiatrist assessment.

After assessment

Assessment report

Whether TMS is indicated, the protocol, and the planned course. If TMS is not appropriate, the report says so and why.

End of course

Outcome summary

Baseline and end-of-course PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores, response or remission status, and a maintenance plan as your patient returns to your care.

We do not take over prescribing or ongoing management. The treating psychiatrist prescribes and supervises the TMS course; everything else stays with you, and every report is written so it can go straight into the patient's record.

Wondering if TMS is a fit for You?

The first step is a conversation. You do not need a referral to ask a question, and an enquiry creates no obligation.
